Dreamt I lived in a big glass dome with two cats and a forest and there were tiny baby bears outside trying to get in- and I had to get my cats safely in through a tiny round door then had to seal it so bears could not go in- there were 24 baby bears the size of porcupines running around outside and the dome was clear glass and huge the size of a American football stadium - not sure why I could not be friends with the bears and invite them in- senses they needed to come inside be be healthy as if the oxygen outside my dome was not clean and safer in the dome with trees and me and my cats- a futuristic dream I guess

Woke from a dream with a song in it “I can never taste your worthless” and wondering if it’s a real song or did I make it up in my dream?! The dream was about remodeling a huge property with house and lots of staircases and actress Scarlett Johansen was there to “assist” ha! Interesting dreams lately- also had one involving a huge two moon scene on the beach with extraterrestrials landing everywhere in orange sphere shaped containers light up like lanterns and was wondering they if moved our moon closer to earth or brought their own moons? This caused the waves to get really huge

doing our north american holiday "thanksgiving" different this year!

doing our north american holiday "thanksgiving" different this year! cooking a meal for a female friend and i and bringing to her house later today- we have known each other since we were 11 on whidbey when our parents both put us in alternative art oriented school. (my boyfriend is in oregon visiting his family) then going to visit my mom on the island later next week...my dads in florida retired and having a meal with his girlfriend etc.

i love Laurie Anderson! have since i was a teen and heard her 1984 album "Mister Heartbreak" at my uncles house! agree with her ideas on not "labeling" yourself as a certain kind of artist if you don't want to be pigeon holed! be free if you want. "multi media" keeps you free! i have always felt natural this way. some aRtists are happy to FOCUS on one medium. not me! follow your bliss as Joseph Campbell said “If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don't be afraid, and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.”

democracy goes out the window when capitalism has no democratic socialism mixed in! this is what unregulated #Capitalism does. when "profit" is the number one goal and priority this leads to corruption. how could it not? we need democratic socialism swirled into our USA capitalism to help regulate rent and healthcare and mass transit being affordable to all citizens and not just good for the wealthy and the corporations! like my poem where i say "increase cooperation, decrease the corporation" that is what i mean. unregulated captialism breeds greed literally! when people are rewarded with low taxes and "status" for being "wealthy" this leads to money hoarding and greed and fear of scarcity

recent rambles

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! I turned 51 on Friday 10/25! Doing something with my boyfriend today! I modeled 12 days in a row and today is my one day off before working again tomorrow and several days after

Another great film: “echo in the canyon” is now streaming on Netflix! I saw it twice at the theatre with Jakob Dylan and band present playing live and doing Q & A great experience - and they played a ton petty sing one night “the waiting”

Note to self get soundtracks to movies “birdman” for the cool drums and “annilation” for the alien sounds - I love unusual music- and maybe “joker” for the violin or cello - what is that sound?

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! I had a fun day- modeled for medical students in the early morning then with my brother like friend: - sushi , joker movie, got 2tb hard drive to expand computer-

Glad I saw JOKER on my birthday with my friend. We both appreciate the movie. very powerful dark humour about the ills of modern civilisation ... has many points to make and well done music acting editing etc lighting- I don’t see the point being “violence” as a solution- or simply mental illness being a serious problem- this movie illustrates economic injustice, the stress of poverty, modern life rat race competition etc - the violence is upsetting and it’s supposed to be disturbing - I have empathy for joker - will write more on this later

So far for my birthday I’ve worked with medical students then my boyfriend came to food bank with me and they were giving away extra stuff (cleaning out freezers for thanksgiving they say) so I got some ice cream which I normally don’t eat due to sugar but it’s free for my birthday ha ha...they are so generous ...the food banks here give out free turkeys so I’ll be getting one of those to bring to my moms for thanksgiving...a friend and I are going to expand my computer memory today and hopefully go see “joker” movie and then might dance at my boyfriends show tonight

I would love it if Edie Brickell and Tori Amos and neil young and Tom Petty would all come and sing happy birthday to me ha ha hah that’s just a funny vision I had! Oh yeah and throw Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix in there too he can sing me happy birthday also

fun project

yesterday did a unique modeling job. was photographed in my apartment fully clothed in a dress then leggings and jacket and socks feeding my cat, folding clothes, making my bed, walking my cat, petting my cat etc. taking care of my houseplants- ordinary house hold things for a lady working on paintings from the photos she took of me. i brushed my teeth on camera and cooked food etc., was a fun experience. look forward to seeing the paintings! my colorful clothing matched my houseplants with pink flowers etc. green and pink- all the colors seemed to work...nice sunlight in my windows now too....

yesterday was interesting

Long day. Photo shoot, recorded my radio show, walked one hour, errands, modeled 3 hours then stopped by blues jam to say hi to my boyfriend and his friends - sleep! I need lots of quiet time after all that noise today!

medical modeling day

get to act out a role today for medical students - prepping now. have to memorize my "character" issues. this is a mental health training class- very interesting work. challenging and intense but i like helping in this way and it's good practice at "detachment" because today i play a role of someone who is very unhappy and has major problems.
