Summer 2025 - After numerous delays, the much anticipated sophomore release from Goddess Kring is finally here! Featuring a large variety of genres in the pop music realm, Amplified Chameleon continues the style and charm of her highly celebrated interactive jack debut.
Her knack for poetry and interesting vocal delivery shine in her second full length album.
Supaflower explains a little about their process: "I built each track around a specific poem that she would show me. She would bring them into the studio and I'd listen and find inspiration in her words. While I was tracking the backing instrumentation, she would often sit and edit her poems or create additional lines. That would be the first couple of hours. Then we'd switch gears and record her vocals, adding harmonies or backing vocal parts all in one session. We would be so into our work that we'd often continue into the early morning hours. In most cases, these songs were finished in one or two recording sessions."
The first single, Kaleidoscope Unicorn, was produced earlier this year and was leaked online by Goddess herself. "It's the perfect summer theme for a melancholic season." Originally based around an acoustic guitar chord pattern, the song eventually evolved into a full scale pop production and has since become a fan favorite!
Also featured are a pair of upbeat songs recorded in collaboration with another interactive jack artist: Synthetic Summer. The track "Distracted by Reality V" is a strange and funky sequel to a series of conceptual Synthetic Summer tracks released on their own albums.
The album is produced by the beloved studio wizard Supaflower, and you'll find something new with every listen. His fingerprints are all over this release and his attention to detail make it an adventure to listen to. Between his pop sensibility and Goddess KRING's clever and nuanced lyrics, this is a worthy listen.
